Maintenance Technician
Job Description
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Periodic inspections and maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, belt replacement, electrical system checks, and proactive part replacement before failure to extend equipment lifespan.
- Corrective Maintenance: When machinery or systems fail, technicians must promptly diagnose the root cause and perform repairs to restore operations as quickly as possible.
- Installation and Commissioning: Overseeing the installation of new machinery, wiring, or facility equipment, including performance testing before full-scale operation.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining repair logs, preparing monthly summary reports, and monitoring spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for operations.
Qualifications
- Male, age 22 years and above
- Vocational certificate or higher
in industrial engineering or
related fields
(electrical, mechanical, automotive, etc.)
- 2 years or more of experience

- Clearing Baggage Jams: Respond promptly to baggage jam alerts and clear obstructions to maintain a continuous flow of the system.
- Reporting System Malfunctions: In cases of major mechanical or electrical failures, coordinate with the Preventive Maintenance team to initiate repairs.
- Belt Allocation: Assign specific carousels to corresponding flights to ensure passengers can collect their luggage at the correct location
- Ground Handling Coordination: Work closely with baggage handlers to ensure the efficient transfer of luggage from the aircraft onto the conveyor system.
